A New Song For The Wayfinder

When we sent out the Wayfinder a few years ago, I didn’t really know if anyone would care. I had a vision: an instrument that gets passed around and used to build community through music. The project hasn’t gone viral and it never will. Instead, it just keeps building up tiny layers of meaning and experience, like a pearl building in an oyster. I expect someone might notice in the future how big this project is, but I expect it will be a long time from now.

When we recently looked through the book that travels with the Wayfinder, we were reminded of a song that Marcy Marxer wrote for it. We printed out the music and Nicole decided we should sing it for you. But first, here is an exclusive, the pages that Cathy and Marcy added to the book:
